The PRC preserves New Orleans’ historic architecture, neighborhoods and cultural identity through collaboration, empowerment and service to our community.

 

Louisiana Landmarks Society

A non-profit 501(C)3 preservation advocacy organization, responsible for the annual “New Orleans’ 9 Most Endangered” listing of at-risk historic properties. Landmarks’ preservation activities restored the c. 1799 Pitot House to its Creole West Indies colonial charm and current use as a site for preservation education.

Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation

The Trust advocates, promotes and preserves historic places representing our diverse culture through annual preservation awards and Louisiana’s Most Endangered Places list

Preserve Louisiana

Formerly the Foundation for Historical Louisiana, Preserve Louisiana promotes the preservation of our state’s cultural and architectural heritage through education, advocacy and stewardship.

 

Gretna Historical Society

GHS is a 501(C)3 whose mission is to restore and preserve or recreate and maintain for posterity, as well as to promote for public appreciation, selected sites, buildings, structures, relics and artifacts of any kind or description that have historical value and are associated with the development and growth of the City of Gretna and the West Bank of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. GHS also educates its members and the public about the history of the region through monthly programming and meetings.

Vieux Carré Property Owners, Residents & Associates (VCPORA)

VCPORA is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the preservation and protection of the Vieux Carré as an international historic treasure, a major cultural and economic asset, and a living residential neighborhood that is valued and respected by all.

 

Vieux Carré Commission Foundation

The Foundation supports and furthers the cause and constitutional charge of the Vieux Carré Commission: to preserve and to protect the invaluable historic architectural heritage of New Orleans’ French Quarter by providing the VCC with needed equipment and supplies, funding and undertaking major projects for the benefit of the VCC
